Moulds for the Eyewear Sector

Meccanica STM designs and manufactures plastic injection moulds for the Eyewear sector. Our eyewear moulds are used to produce spectacle frames and temples. We also make moulds for goggles, masks as well as for the components used for tumble finishing, a technique part of the production process in the eyewear sector.
Our experience in this field, acquired with the support and collaboration of some of the largest companies of the industry based in our area, allows us to apply the most advanced technology available in the eyewear sector.

Tumble finishing is one of the many steps during the production of glasses. This smoothing technique gives shape to the object thanks to the abrasive action of small rhomboid-shaped pieces we produce. The rotating movement of the pieces smooths and polishes the surfaces.
